Hundreds of dogs from all across the country are making their way this week to the Cabelas’ store in Richfield, Wisconsin to compete in the DockDogs National Championship. The competitors are invited to compete in the four disciplines: big air, extreme vertical, speed retrieve, and iron dog. Adding to the fun, there is also an annual awards banquet where additional awards and prizes will be handed out which have been voted on by DockDogs members.
I want to wish all the competitors the best of luck, especially Team Blabrador and Team Missy!
Dogs to Watch: Callie, Wylie, Abe, Colby, Missy, Kody, Reagan, Ares, Quasi, Seven, and Alex.

Hi there! I am very interested in starting my lab in dock diving, but have no idea where or how to start this journey. Do you have any suggestions? Is this something I train her with, or do we look for a professional trainer? Any advice would be great!
Thanks so much!

Stephanie-it is definitely something you can train her with yourself. There are a lot of great resources on the web and on the various forums. I will send you an email with info.

Susan, that’s quite a jump for a young pup. Congrats! You can visit http://www.dockdogs.com for more info on current rankings and the various jumps lengths/heights/times.
