Seven, the Ultimate Air Dogs record holder, won the diving dog portion of the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge (IDC) competition with a jump of 30 ft, 4 inches. Way to go Seven!
The IDC, unlike most dock-diving competitions in the country, judges the dogs’ jump from where the tip of their nose enters the water. Still, if measurement had been taken at the base of the tail, the jump still would have a been a good 27 ft.
Seven, a german shorthaired pointer is handled by Kim and Rob of New York.
